An Appeal for Welfare Centre

An Appeal

Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a registered socio cultural non-political philanthropic organisation established by the illustrious patriot saint Acharya Swami Pranavananda Ji Maharaj in the year 1917. The Sangha has 72 branches as well as many Hindu Milan Mandirs (sub branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha) across the length and breadth of India and is also present overseas in places such as Bangladesh, Trinidad, Guyana, Fiji, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, West Indies, countries of South America and Nepal. All activities of the Sangha are focussed towards upliftment of the downtrodden through selfless humanitarian activities irrespective of cast, creed and religion.

Activities of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Raipur Branch

Besides performing spiritual activities, education and relief work remains the foremost priority.

A senior secondary school with CBSE affiliation at VIP Road and another middle school at Bhudapara have been running since 1997 and 2012 respectively. Relief materials like clothes, medicines and food items are being distributed amongst the poor in Mana village as well as other rural areas as and when the need arises. Hindu Milan Mandirs are run at Mana, Bhilai and Bilaspur.

The monks and volunteers of Bharat Sevashram Sangha have been occasionally rendering humanitarian services in the utter poverty and various acute misery stricken villages in the district of Baster, Jagdalpur, Bijapur, Dantewara, Sukma, and villages of Kalahandi district by distributing relief material. But this is not a permanent solution. Bharat Sevashram Sangha strongly feels that there is a dire need to establish a Permanent Centre for conducting activities such as Healthcare, Education, Income generation schemes, etc.

On the eve of 125 years of advent of Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavananda ji Maharaj, in the year 2021, we have decided to establish a Permanent Welfare Centre at Baster in Chhattisgarh.

To begin with, for establishing requisite infrastructure with adequate man power, at least Rupees Eighty Lakhs will be required.

In view of the above project, Bharat Sevashram Sangha places before you an earnest Appeal to donate generously to materialise this noble cause.

Donation given to Bharat Sevashram Sangha is exempted under section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act.
